She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Dunnigan and Meredith Dunnigan; her granddaughter Katherine Mazie Smith "Kate"; her brothers, Charles Midgett Jr. "Chuck" (Janie) and Balfour Midgett "Butch" (Sarah); her aunt Merlee Tillett Austin; and her namesake Lois Tillett Gallop. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
