Joshua Leigh Livesay Obituary

Captain Joshua Leigh Livesay, 34, of Wanchese, died Saturday, April 30, 2011. Born in Elizabeth City, NC, April 6, 1977, he was the son of Ron "Bubba" and Donetta Livesay of Wanchese. He is survived by his daughter Ava Livesay, her mother Allison, and his brother, Caine Livesay. He is also survived by his grandparents Lois Webb, Irene Livesay, and great-grandmother, Stella Blackburn.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents Gerald Webb and Edward Livesay. Captain Livesay was a self-employed waterman. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Manteo. Memorial services are planned for Monday, May 9, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. on the beach at Jennette's Pier. Parking will be available. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be directd to a fund in the name of his daughter, Ava Mason Livesay, at any branch of RBC-USA Bank.
