She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Doughty and Alna Rogers Doughty; and her former husband Benjamin Midgett. She is survived by: her children, Amy Midgette (Gaither) of Wanchese, Tracy Leonard (Pat) of Wanchese and Kenny Midgett (Adrienne) of Wanchese; her grandchildren, Maison Weaver (David), Hannah Midgette, Rachel Midgette, Alex Midgett and Ben Midgett; her sisters, Carolee Tillett (Mike) of Manteo and Kim Grimes (David) of Wanchese; her nieces, Jill, Karen and Loralee; her nephew Josh; and her husband Ben.
