She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Davis Brothers and Shawnee Tillett Brothers; her husband Jerry Dean Houston, Sr.; and her son Jerry Dean Houston, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Brett Houston (Jessica) of Wanchese and Michael Duane Houston (Felicia) of Grifton; her grandchildren, Mitchell Houston (Maegan) of Grifton, Matt Houston of Charlotte, Blake Houston of Wanchese and Brittany Houston of Wanchese; and her sisters, Linda O'Neal (Benny) of Wanchese and Mona Midgett (Ted) of Wanchese. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
