It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lee Wescott of Wanchese, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theophilus Lee Wescott and Ina Cahoon Wescott; his wife Aileen Johnson Wescott; his daughter Myrtle Gail Wescott McKinney; his granddaughter Tana D. Johnson; and his siblings, Ervin H. Wescott, Marvin H. Wescott and Lessie W. Forbes.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Wescott of Wanchese, NC; his grandchildren, Lee Johnson (Lisa) of Wanchese, NC, Anna Aucoin (Cooper) of Many, LA and Justin McKinney of Athens, TX; his great grandchildren, Mariah Meenach (Joshua) of Troup, TX, Alyssa Johnson and Ian Johnson of Wanchese, NC; and his great great grandchild Harper Meenach of Troup, TX..
