It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alon Ray Parks (Wanchese, North Carolina), who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Retha Bunch Parks and Matthew Parks; and his brothers, Eddie and Dearl Parks. He is survived by: his wife Jean Parks; his son Michael Parks (Wendy) of Manns Harbor; his grandchildren, Chad Michael Parks (Caitlyn) and Walker Allen Parks; his great grandchildren, Elisabeth and Lila Parks; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Casper of Gates County and Barbara Ann Bunch of Gates County. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
