She was predeceased by: her parents, Luby Amerson and Madeline Amerson; her husband Bobby Ray Jones; and her daughter Melody Hope Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Rose Jones Thomas (Ronnie) of Stantonsburg; her grandchildren, Ashley Jones (Chris) and Darrell Jones (Britni); her great grandchildren, Austin Jones, Trent Jones, Logan Jones, Easton Jones and Dallas Jones; her siblings, Marlene Bass of Virginia, Barbara Eatmon of Ahoskie, Nancy Carey of Georgia and Bennie Thomas Amerson of Fountain; and her sister-in-law Mildred Joyce Jones.
