She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Dildy; her parents, Jessie Thomas and Sally Ann Hardy Summerlin; and her siblings, Irene Hendrickson, Lucille Proctor, Jessie Thomas Summerlin Jr., John Robert Summerlin, Melvin Earl Summerlin and Hardy Pitt Summerlin.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Dildy Carraway (Jerry) of Walstonburg; her grandchildren, Kyle Alan Carraway (Sarah) of Stantonsburg and Meredith Carraway Harper (James) of Snow Hill; and her great grandchildren, Brady Alan Carraway, Walker Bryant Carraway, Lucas Reid Carraway, Jacob Henry Harper and Avery James Harper.
