With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hortense Beamon of Walstonburg, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hortense Beamon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Marcia Cobb. She is survived by: her husband Marion Gray Beamon; her children, Hilda Beamon Cobb (Larry) of Farmville and Ted Beamon (Karen) of Kannapolis; her sister Dorothy G. "Boone" Gay of Walstonburg; and also Tammy Whitley. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
