He is survived by: his wife Dorothy O'Neal; his daughter Melody Dyson of Richmond, VA; his stepdaughters, Sherry Renea Merrill of Farmville and Michelle Moss of Wilson; his son Brandon "Buddy" O'Neal of Richmond, VA; his sister Polly J. Pittman of Wilson; his half-sister Deena Dilda; his brother William O'Neal of Fuquay Varina; and his half-brothers, Randy Page of Raleigh and Todd O'Neal of Wilson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
