It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Glass of Walstonburg, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Bransford Crute and Pearle Beale Crute; her husband Kenneth Harrison Glass; her siblings, Charles D. Crute, Beverly B. Crute, C. Samuel Crute, Nannie C. Weaver and Jane C. Turner; and her great grandchild Christian Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Harrison Glass (Frankie) of Snow Hill, John Adams Glass (Gayle) of Butner and Judy Glass Koontz of Salem, Oregon; her grandchildren, Benjamin Sullivan (Jennifer), Steve Sullivan (Michelle), Jennifer Henard (Michael), Lauren Jones (Lewis), Rachel Koontz, Joseph Koontz, Eric Koontz and Joanie Koontz; her great grandchildren, Ashe Sullivan (Claudia), Colton Sullivan, Russell Sullivan, Summer Sullivan, Caroline Henard and Paisley Jones; and her great great grandchildren, Ember, August and Reyna Sullivan.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the churches she loved which are Ash Avenue Baptist Church, 900 Ash Avenue, South Boston, Virginia 24592 or Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church, 930 Meadow Road, Walstonburg, North Carolina 27888.
