It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Eugene Whitaker of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Johnson Whitaker of Lewisville, NC. and William Ben Whitaker; and his sister Kathy Swisher. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Whitaker; his sons, William Eugene Whitaker Jr. (Lisa) of Wake Forest, NC and Jason Paul Whitaker (Kristen) of Mocksville, NC; his grandchildren, Kristina Annmarie, Ava Lane, Jaxson Paul and Cora Mae Whitaker; and his sisters, Marie Eichelberger of Winston Salem and Carol Clemmons (Carey) of Walnut Cove.

Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are encouraged.
