She is survived by: her son Dwayne Parnell of Walnut Cove; her siblings, Joyce Sloan (Dennis) of Ferrum, Alice Sloan (Ray) of Rocky Mount and Roger Fields (Marlana) of King; and her half-siblings, Janice Gardner of Rocky Mount, James Greer of Martinsville and Terry Greer of Martinsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
