She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerald Payne and Eunice Seall Payne; her husband Chester "Red" Brown; her sibling Bentlee; her great grandchild Braxton Tuyen Chau; and her brother Fred Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Ernie Brown (Sharon), Ginger East (Phillip), Chester Brown Jr. (Kim) and Cary Brown (Wendy); her sisters, Janet Puffer and Vivian Jones; and her close friend Dawn. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 one great great grandchild.
