She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Lala Fulk Smith; her husband James Richard Grubbs; and her siblings, Charles, Billy, Gray Smith, Margaret Simpson, Geradine Kiser, Peggy Wright, Harriet Day and Jean Rorer.
She is survived by: her son James Grubbs; and her close friend Jackie Hooker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Walnut Cove Cemetery.
