Phil Vance Mays Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Vance Mays (Walnut Cove, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Mays and Mary Kerley Mays; and his sisters, Maxine Trexler and Jo Ann Hendrick. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dodson Mays; and his children, Phil Vance Mays, Jr. (Meri), Julia Ann Collins (Scott), Brian Cone (Tonya) and Eric Cone (Tiffany). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are encouraged.
