He was predeceased by: his father Norwood Bernice Sorrell; and his former wife Pattie Sorrell. He is survived by: his wife Kaye S. Sorrell; his children, William 'Bill Sorrell (Brenda) of Stokesdale, Kenneth Ray Sorrell (Teresa) of Stokesdale, Jerry Davis Sorrell (Debbie) of Stokesdale, Mamie Elizabeth Sorrell of Stokesdale and Lonnie Sorrell (Donna) of Madison; his grandchildren, William 'Bucky Sorrell (Charlene), Amee Hill (Brian), Kenny Sorrell (Laura), Amanda Warren (Brandon), Tracie Stoltzfus (Adrian), Kacey Hampton (Gray), Joshua Sorrell (Sophie), Christy Shirley (Wil), Brandon Sorrel (Jenna) and Cory Sorrell (Jessie); and his stepsons, Lee Wright, Chad Wright and Winferd Wright. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
