He was predeceased by: his father J. Otis Venable; his brothers, Kenneth and Bobby; his stepfather Wayne Venable; and his grandson Nathaniel Waters.
He is survived by: his mother Ola Ellis Venable; his wife Marilyn; his children, J. Michael Venable and Kristie Waters (Jamie); his grandchildren, Micah Venable (Alicia), Autumn Waters and Matthew Waters; his great grandchild Greyson Venable; and his sister Darlene Fain.
Ronnie was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Rural Hall, NC, for over 30 years and was active in the nursing home bus ministry up until the pandemic.
