He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Mitchell and Sallie Boles Mitchell; and his sister Betty Mitchell Wright. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Mitchell, Bill Mitchell, Mary Lou Atkins and Pat Bullins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
