It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Gray Smith Sr. (Walnut Cove, North Carolina), who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harrison and Hattie Sutphin Smith; his daughter Denise Kessering; and his brothers, Fred, Clyde, Melvin, James and Edgar Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Neal Smith; his son Jeff Smith (Julie); and his sister Aline Snow. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
