With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Richard Leal Jr. of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, born in New Port Richey, Florida, who passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 32. He was predeceased by: his stepgrandfather Roger W. Girouard; his grandfather Alvin C. Gillis; his uncle Daniel J. Gillis; and his cousins, Daniel J. Gillis, II and Danielle Lackard.

He is survived by: his parents, Andra Gillis Cave (Ed) and Glenn Richard Leal, Sr.; his children, Mary Jane Leal and Joshua Brashier; his sister Savannah Cave; his grandmother Mary A. Girouard; his aunts, Jo Ann Brunton (Tom), Catherine Gillis Lackard (Danny), Emily Gillis Boilard (Tim), Marilyn Gillis Rogers (Kenny) and Betsy Gillis Halla (Bob); and his uncle Brian S. Gillis.
