He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Stack and Clara Barrow; and his siblings, Richard, James, Howard, Harvey and Jewel Botts.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Evelyn Smith Stack; his children, Duane Stack (Becky Stack) and Daphne Stack; his grandchildren, Gretchen Stack, Lisa Byrd (Jason), Mandy Stack, Nathan Ferguson and Becky Wagoner (J. T.); his great grandchildren, Britany Moore, Abigail Alvarez (Obed), Adrianna Ford, Victoria Byrd and Savannah Stack; and his sister Ruby Combs. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove, 415 Summit St. Walnut Cove NC, 27052.
