He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jane Hartman; and his brothers, Richard Hartman and George Hartman. He is survived by: his son Dwayne A. Hartman (Peggy); and his foster children, Michael T. Pugh (Karen) and Catherine C. Bates (Keith). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 foster grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church at the address listed above.
