Carol Pruitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Pruitt (Walnut Cove, North Carolina), who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ranzey Pruitt and Mary Evelyn Campbell Pruitt; her siblings, Bobby Pruitt, Billy Pruitt, James Campbell and Doris Linville; and her great-nephew Terry Warden.
She is survived by: her sisters, Linda Collins and Lynn Duggins; her nieces and nephews, Pam Warden, Mary Ann Auman, Randy Warden, Glenn Duggins, Harold Pruitt, Tony Pruitt and Tim Pruitt; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Warden, Ashley Trump, Jessica Nifong, Gabby Duggins, Naomi, Isabelle, Amber, Kimmie Warden, Danny Duggins, Brandon Mabe, Tommy Joyce and Justin Davis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (2843 North Carolina Hwy 89 E, Walnut Cove, NC 27052).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
