It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Chapman Bowman (Walnut Cove, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Chapman and Eva Stephens Chapman; her husband John Chester Bowman; and her children, Betty Dianne Bowman and Chester Lane Bowman.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Earlene Bowman; her grandchildren, James Paul Bowman, Christie Letson and Angela Bowman; and her brother Belvin Chapman. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are encouraged.
