She was predeceased by: her parents, Ushi and Takazato. She is survived by: her husband Forest "Gene" Hunter; her children, Jim Hunter (Rhonda) of Morehead City, NC, Linda Schorstein (Vlad) of Deluth, GA and Teresa Frost (Kris) of Charlotte, NC; and her sisters, Kiku Sumiko Uehara, Fume, Toshi and Maki Taimanglo. She is also survived by three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
