She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Leon Sexton; and her sisters, Margie Hill, Vera Dupree and Carol Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Rosalyn Proctor of Greensboro, Iris Angela Thayer of Winston Salem, Camellia Gurley of Orlando, Marsha Sexton of Greensboro and Jessie Mae Sexton of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Candace Ham of Cornelius, Jared Proctor of Cornelius, Cory Thayer of Austin and Elizabeth Gurley of Charleston; her great grandchildren, Connor of Cornelius, Ella of Cornelius, Spencer Ham of Cornelius, Adie of Cornelius and Preston Proctor of Cornelius; and her sister Elizabeth Hill of Snow Hill, NC..
