He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Taylor Blanton and Lacey William Rivenbark Blanton; and his siblings, Mary B. Hardin, Rachel B. Croom, Jimmy Blanton and Roy Blanton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Faye B. Rivenbark, Wayne Blanton and Carson Blanton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
