She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dunn and Mame Batchelor Horne; her husband Jesse J. Jenkins; and her siblings, Margaret Roberts, Madeline Slater and Neil Horne.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Jenkins (Cathy) of Dallas, NC, Reverend Stan Jenkins (Melody) of Oxford, NC and Tony Jenkins (Nancy) of Wallace; her grandchildren, Beth Jenkins Callahan (Neil), Wendy Jenkins Cox (Erik), Emory Miller and Maggie Marsh; her great grandchild Will Jordan; and her friend Velma.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be given to Wallace Christian Academy, c/o Poston Baptist Church, 4121 S NC Hwy 11, Wallace, NC 28466.
