He is survived by: his wife Brenda Boone Gideon; his children, Natalie Gideon, Tammy G. Sholar (Jason) of Wallace and Jeremy Gideon (Natalie) of Teachey; his grandchildren, John Scott Robinson, Jamie Taylor Robinson, Zachary Sholar, Alexander Sholar, Caleb Sholar, Hallie Sholar, Kamdyn Gideon, Taft Gideon, Ellison Gideon and Lennon Gideon; his great grandchild Juliette Sholar; and his friend Glenn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
