She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence I. Blackburn and Eloise Carter Blackburn of Ingold; her husband James Monroe Marshburn; and her siblings, Willa Dean Hansford, Gene M. Blackburn and Ronald T. Blackburn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen M. Knowles (Jimmy) of Teachey, NC, Alesia Faye M. Gurganus (Cecil) of Norwood, NC and Lori M. Bryant (Darrell) of Southport, NC; her grandchildren, Graham Knowles (Melissa), Rena K. Baker (Adam), Kayla B. Sears (Josh), Dustin Gurganus (Dallace), Carly Bryant and Donovan Gurganus (Shelby); her great grandchildren, Skyler Parker, Talyn Parker, Isabella Parker, Madelynn Knowles, Ellis Baker, Easton Sears, Reed Baker, Griffin Knowles, Lana Baker, Jensen Sears, Janie Mae Knowles and Shepard Gurganus; her siblings, Louise Oakes of Raleigh, NC, Charles Blackburn (Barbara) of Southport, NC and Larry Blackburn (Susie) of Greensboro, NC; her siblings-in-law, Imogene King, Robert Hansford and Betsy Carter (Norwood); and her aunt Roslyn Keith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extened family and friends.
