It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stella Rovene Lloyd of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Stella's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parent Sina Dail Casteen; her husband Columbus Lloyd; and her son-in-law Terry Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Eleanor Brown of Chinquapin and Joan Hall (Chuckie) of Rose Hill; and her grandchildren, Meta Rich (James Earl), Bart Brown, Ryan Brown (Rebecca) and Shelly Sutton. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 1650 Deep Bottom Rd, Wallace, NC 28466.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the Dail Cemetery Fund.
