She was predeceased by: her parents, John Steven and Celithia Hazel Patterson Hooker; her husband Luther Edward Carraway; her siblings, Doris Morgan, Howard Hooker, Jerry Hooker, Perry Hooker, Bobby Hooker and Jim "Totsy" Hooker; and her grandson Junior Croom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Register (Ray) of Wallace, Regina Bodzinski (Jon) of Beulaville and Mylinda Halso (Tim) of Wallace; her grandchildren, Tammy Bowen (Jason) of Stephenson, VA, Frankie Croom of Stephenson, VA, Tyler English of Wallace, Brandon Thigpen (Mary Susan Beasley) of Wallace, Ashleigh Thigpen of Wilmington, Randal Jones (Farrah) of Wallace, Robin English of Willard, Colby English of Willard, Matthew Register of Wallace, Victoria Register of Willard, Kayla Register of Rose Hill, Jonathan Bodzinski of Richlands and Joshua Bodzinski of Richlands; and her brother Billy Hooker (Judy) of High Point. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
