He is survived by: his wife Nell Jones-Pierce; his children, Wayne Pierce (Bridget), Kathy King (Craig) and Beverly Boyd (Greg); his grandchildren, Tammy, Jackie, Farrah, Gentry, Kyle, Shannon, Melody, Deborah, Tracie, Buddy, Russ, Harris and Jeff; and his friend Russell.
