She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Woodlief and Elaine Smith Woodlief; her husband Leon "Stoney" Whitney Stone; her children, Jackie Stone and David Stone; her great grandchild Elayden Boyette; and her siblings, Jeanette Patterson and Leroy Woodlief.
She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Stone of Rose Hill, Robin E. Stone of Wallace and Lisa S. Buie (Dennis) of Wallace; her grandchildren, Jason Stone, Amanda Stone, Dale Stone, Kelly Stone, Whitney Boyette and Alex Boyette; her great grandchildren, Ethan Stone, Mason Stone, Caleb Salinas, Jordan Boyette, Kate Foley and Lilith Boyette; and her sister Linda Hadden of Alabama. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wallace (408 W Main St, Wallace, NC 28466). Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be sent to First Baptist Church of Wallace.
