He is survived by: his mother Carolyn McClure Colwell of Wallace; his sister Suzanne Colwell of Winston-Salem; his niece Palynn; his nephew Jack; his aunt Brenda Colwell Mitchell; his uncle Neal of Greensboro; and his friend Mike.
