It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Glyn Carter of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Ila Daniel Jessup; her husband Almon Hill Carter; and her brother Benjamin "Ben" Jessup. She is survived by: her children, Donna Glyn Carter of New Bern, NC, Arden Renee Carter of New Bern, NC and Almon Hill Carter III (Katherine) of Palmyra, VA; her grandchildren, Hayden Carter (Clara), Benjamin Carter and Allyson Carter; her great grandchild Madison Carter; her siblings, Julian Jessup of Dunn and Sue Davidson (Jim) of Richmond, VA; her sister-in-law Emily Jessup of Wallace; and her friend Marion. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
