She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Quincy and Cornelia Viola Merritt Lanier; her husband Eli Carlton Lanier; and her brothers, Carl Pierce and Charles Pierce.
She is survived by: her sons, Eli Carlton Lanier, Jr. of Pin Hook and Ethan Alan Lanier (Lorie) of Pin Hook; her sister Shirley Brinson (Orman) of Pin Hook; and her grandchildren, Emily Martin, Jenny Rodriguez, Valerie Futrell, Evan Crews, Kaylin Lanier, Courtney Brown and Cameron Lanier. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Pinhook Email. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
