She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Jones and Mary Johnson Jones Gay; her husband Kermit Garland Cavenaugh; and her brothers, Marvin Jones and Franklin "Pan Handle" Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Cavenaugh Shebolam (Gene) of Seattle, Vickie Cavenaugh Wells (Stewart) of Raeford, Steve Cavenaugh (Gail) of Teachey, Ritchie Cavenaugh of Wallace, Ramona Cavenaugh Casteen (Greg) of Wallace and Trina Goodwin (Bill) of Wilmington; and her grandchild Gems. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
