She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Holmes Thompson; her parents, John Frank and Lorene Schick Korioth of Sherman, TX.; and her siblings, Johnny Korioth, Charles Korioth, Mamie Epting, Patricia Breedlove, Gregory Korioth, Henry Korioth, Anna Catherine Stroope, Roger Korioth, Teresa Korioth, Annette Rose Korioth and Baby James Korioth.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Thompson Phelps (Henry) of Belhaven, John Aaron Thompson (Cristy) of Wallace and Teresa Thompson Robertson (Butch) of Knightdale; her grandchildren, Noelle Phelps of Raleigh, Mathew Phelps (Grace) of Raleigh, Erick Thompson of Boone, Bradley Young (Gabrielle) of Wilmington, Julia Thompson of Raleigh, Ben Young of Wilmington, Brody Young (Melanie) of Raleigh, Brent Thompson of Wallace, Haley Thompson of New York City and Kori Robertson of Knightdale; her great grandchildren, Kailyn, Alivia, Blake, Grayson and Baby Ryeland; and her sister Lorene Leher of Richardson, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse.
