She was predeceased by: her parents, Algee Nelson and Glennie Griggs Nelson; her husband Braxton Miles; her son Roy Eugene Carnley; and her grandsons, Michael Walker and Kevin Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Walker (Arthur) of Alabama, Debbie Walker of Alabama, David Miles (Cathy) of Bunnlevel and Kathy Raynor (Dean) of Wallace. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews.
