He is survived by: his wife Betty Rouse Owens; his daughters, Christy Rawls (Don) of Penderlea and Cindy Mackdanz (David) of Adams, TN; his grandchildren, Shane Hanchey (Jessica), Jake Rawls, Mark Rawls and Anna Mackdanz; and his sisters, Jean Hathaway of Charlotte and Sue Mangum of Pageland, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Quinn - McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
