He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Pierce Stallings; and his former wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his father John Alfred Stallings Jr. of Teachey; his wife Syreeta Ann Sandlin Stallings; his children, John A. "Jay" Stallings IV of Burgaw, Michael Stallings (Crystal) of Wallace, Michaela Sandlin of Beulaville and Dottie Stallings of Wallace; his grandchildren, Dakota Stallings of Wallace and Makayla Stallings of Wallace; and his siblings, Brenda Sue Cranford (Jeff) of Teachey, Jimmy Stallings (Sandra) of Wallace and Tommy Stallings (Mary) of Lawrenceville.
