He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mobley and Bessie Mobley; and his sisters, Helen Teachey and Barbara Sealy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Atkinson Mobley; his children, Chris Mobley, Gary Mobley (Brookie), Sheila Autry and Cheryl Mahmood (Ahmad); and his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Johnathan, Jennifer, Kimberly, Kelly Jo, Micheal and Justin. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made memory of John to Northeast Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, 169 Hanchey Road, Wallace, NC 28466.
