She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ellis and Sara Percy Evans; her husband Billie "Bill" Sunday Pope; her son William Daniel "Dan" Pope; her grandson Jacob "Jake" Lee Blanton; and her siblings, Helen Ahfield, Margaret Evans, Dorothy E. Shue and Robert Hill Evans.
She is survived by: her children, David Evans Pope (Marilyn) of Sneads Ferry and Sara P. Pirelli (Eddie) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Kimberly Burkes, William Paul Pope, Joseph Daniel Pope and Janna Parker; her great grandchildren, Sidney Burkes, Billy Carson Pope and Brianne Pope; her daughter-in-law Paula Pope of Ivanhoe; and her friend Janet.
