With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Grace Brown Brinkley (Wallace, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Aileen Brown Edwards and Jessie Brown Gilmore; her husband Lin; her son Clifton "Buddy" Brinkley; her son-in-law Harold Maready Sr.; and her mother Janet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Brinkley Maready and Anita Brinkley Yost; her son-in-law William Yost; her father Steve Lane; and her grandchildren, Harold Maready Jr., Greg Maready (Geneva), Ashley Maready, Todd Brinkley (Becky), Misty Brinkley-Smith (Billy) and Alex Yost (Michaela). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
