She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bryan and Margaret Bryan; and her husband Joseph "Joe" Lee Brinson. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Brinson Bowman (Doug) of Statesville and Bryan Lee Brinson of Thomasville; her granddaughter Maggie Bowman Hughes (Rick); and her siblings, James Ray Bryan (Diane), Randy Bryan (Bonnie) and Gail B. Scronce (Wesley).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Poston Baptist Church, 4121 S NC Hwy 11, Wallace, NC 28466 or to Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625 will be appreciated.
