She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Addie Roberts Palmeter; her husband Lee Montague Sikes, Jr.; and her son David Sikes. She is survived by: her children, Herman Allen Sikes (Linda) of Wallace and Patricia S. Martin (Bill) of Fayetteville; her daughter-in-law Pat Sikes (NC) of Mint Hill; her grandchildren, Brian Sikes (Robyn) of Rock Hill, Eric Sikes (Leah) of Gastonia and Whitney Crandall (Paul) of Clarksville; and her great grandchildren, Madeleine Sikes of Rock Hill, Olivia Sikes of Rock Hill, Greyson Sikes of Gastonia, Zarek Sikes of Gastonia and Haidyn Crandall of Clarksville.
