George William Hanchey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2023, at the age of 96, George William Hanchey of Wallace, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tate William and Idawese Boney Hanchey; his wife Evelyn Brown Hanchey; his daughter Brenda Sholar; and his sisters, Doris Carter and Minnie Larson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara "Bobbie" McKellar of Wallace and Celia Horne of Wallace; his grandchildren, Tonia Arndt, Vonnie England, Victoria O'Neil and Charles Newman; and his sister Ann Larson of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
