He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth English Rivenbark; his children, Lorrie Callaghan (John) of Warren and Adam Rivenbark (Whitney) of Wilmington; his stepchildren, Carl Hardison, Jr. of Marion and Melody Susan Ruddell (James) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Arielle, Timothy, Dava, Billy, David, Christopher, Melissa, Brian, Allison and Tristan; his great grandchildren, Hadley and Rand; his niece Gwen; his cousin Julia Rivenbark; his close friend Edna Vaughan; and his friend Billy.
